Our Story

P.Polai Gardens was founded in the early 2000s with a simple mission: to bring the beauty of nature into people's lives through exquisite flowers and thoughtful landscape design. What began as a small flower shop has grown into a comprehensive floral and landscape design company, serving clients across the region.

Our New African Vision approach to landscape architecture combines traditional African garden elements with modern sustainable practices, creating spaces that are both beautiful and environmentally responsible. We believe that every garden tells a story, and we work closely with our clients to ensure that their unique vision is brought to life.

Meet Our CEO

Emmanuel Frimpong

Founder & Chief Executive Officer, P. Polai Gardens

With over 30 years of experience in landscape architecture and horticulture, Emmanuel Frimpong is the visionary leader behind P. Polai Gardens, one of Kumasi’s most respected horticulture companies. Inspired by the impact of green spaces during his travels in Europe, he founded the company in Akyaakrom, Ghana, to create sustainable, beautiful landscapes.

Under his leadership, P. Polai Gardens has served high-profile clients like Dr. Kwaku Oteng and contributed to landmark projects such as the Boankra Inland Port during President John Agyekum Kufuor’s administration. From 2020 to 2024, Emmanuel also served as a Director at Polyroads Positive Construction, overseeing key infrastructure projects.

Emmanuel is committed to promoting sustainable land use and environmentally conscious development in Ghana, reflecting his New African Vision of harmonizing beauty, ecology, and functionality.
